In appeals in which the briefing notice is issued on or after April 1, 2014, counsel using the ECF system must file appendices electronically, as well as in paper. See Section 11.1 of the Guide to Electronic Filing.
As of March 1, 2014, the Criminal Justice Act panel attorney non-capital hourly rate is $126 and capital hourly rate is $180.
Changes to the Court of Appeals Miscellaneous Fee Schedule took effect December 1, 2013. Among other changes, the total amount payable to the district court for filing a notice of appeal increased to $505.00 ($500.00 plus the district court filing fee of $5.00). The fee for docketing a petition for review, a petition for writ of mandamus, or other original proceeding in this Court increased to $500.00. See the Fee Schedule page for a complete list of fees.
