As of Monday, September 17, 2018, in order to e-file or renew Bar membership with the Eleventh Circuit, e-filers must first have linked their upgraded PACER account to their CM/ECF accounts. Beginning August 1, 2018, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit will accept original proceedings, including such documents as petitions for review and petitions for writ of mandamus, through ECF from attorney e-filers. Please note that although documents will be deemed received as of the date submitted, the case may not be opened or docketed until up to 2 business days later. Attorney e-filers submitting emergency original proceedings through ECF must still contact the Clerk's Office. Click here for instructions on e-filing original proceedings.
Effective Monday, September 17, 2018, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit is scheduled to implement the Next Generation of CM/ECF (NextGen). All CM/ECF users who wish to e-file on or after September 17, 2018, must complete a two-step process to upgrade their accounts. Click here for additional information
