Members of the public have received calls from individuals posing as "agents" working for or with the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. The callers then ask the recipient to pay a monetary fine. While the recipient's caller ID may show that the call comes from the Clerk's Office main phone number (404-335-6100), these calls are "spoofed" and are not from the Court of Appeals. The Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals does not call members of the public and ask them to pay a fine over the phone. If you receive one of these calls please hang up and contact the FBI Atlanta Field Office at 770-216-3000.
The staff offices for the Court of Appeals will be closed on Wednesday, 5 December 2018, in observance of the National Day of Mourning for former President Bush. All filings due this Wednesday will be extended to the next business day, Thursday, 6 December 2018, when Court offices resume normal operations.

The Eleventh Circuit conversion to the Next Generation (NextGen) version of CM/ECF has been completed and the NextGen CM/ECF system is now live. Click here for account and filing information.
Due to the planned transition to NextGen CM/ECF, attorney registration for the ECF system will be unavailable beginning at 12:00 p.m. (Eastern) on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 through Sunday, September 16, 2018. Attorneys may resume registering for an Eleventh Circuit ECF account as of Monday, September 17, 2018.
